Recommended Option 1: By Registered POST

Sending your application by POST is the preferred option as this will save you the need to travel to specific IP&VSC locations as well as queue and wait times. Average queue times in Peak Seasons of August to December may range from 20-30 minutes and may be longer during lunch rush hours.

• You must enclose an $8, "Postal Processing Fee" in addition to your application and VFS Service fee for every two applications. (For e.g. 1 or 2 applications sent by post = $8, 3- 4 applications = $16) This is to return your processed application. Please do not send return self addressed envelopes as the same is not accepted.
  
• Payment modes include Bank Cheque, Money order payable to VFS Services Australia Pty Ltd or through our online payment gateway service (starting shortly)
  
• You must send your application to the designated P.O.Box Address based on the jurisdiction where you are applying from (click on map above based on the state you are in to find out the POSTAL address where your application needs to be submitted)

Option 2: Queue in Person

If you choose to submit your application in person, you will need to submit the same at an India Passport & Visa Application Centre based on your jurisdiction and applicable trading hours.
