Documents Required

Prior to submitting the application and in order to avoid delays in processing, please ensure the following:

1. Completed online application form
2. Signature of Applicant on form
3. Completed and signed checklist
4. Required documents as per checklist.
5. Correct type of visa category along with the corresponding fee
6. VFS Service charge - AUD 18 Including GST per applicant.
7. A passport valid for a minimum period of 6 months, containing at least 2 blank pages
8. Photocopy of the Bio page of the passport (passport page with photo/ extension of validity/ endorsement if applicable)
9. Photographs:
• 2 copies each for Visa & OCI applications.
• 4 copies for Passport applications
• 8 copies for lost or damaged passport applications.

10. Completed reference form depending on your nationality and Visa category (if applicable).
11. A combined Bankers Cheque (Demand Draft) /Money Order for Application fee, VFS Processing Charge and Document/Passport return Courier Charge (Optional) favoring VFS Services Australia Pty Ltd.

NOTE:

1. It is highly recommended to submit Application fees and service charges through a Bankers Cheque (Demand Draft)/ Money Order favoring VFS Services Australia Pty Ltd.
   
2. Cash will also be accepted, but only at the India Passport & Visa Services Centres.
   
3. No postal application with cash payments will be accepted.
   
4. Please note that it would take an approximate 5-15 working days for processing the application depending on the category applied for.
   
5. Applicants may check the status of their application through our website with the reference/passport number. (Please click here to track your application)

Please Note:
All visas commence from the date of their issue. All applicants should ensure that the visa sticker contains accurate details.

Any discrepancy in name or duration of visa should be brought to the notice/ attention of the counter staff at the India Passport & Visa Service Centre before travel, for correction or clarification.

India Passport & Visa Services Centre will not accept any application without passport, the passport can be returned in case if the applicant wishes to withdraw the passport after submission
