Track Your Application

Visa/Passport/PIO Applications: This can also be used to track your OCI application once you submit your Passport by POST at the second stage.
Please note processing times vary on a case to case basis and Visa Applications are generally processed within 7 working days. However in certain specific cases processing times may be longer This is at the sole discretion of the CGI/HCI authority.

Passport Applications:
Processing times for passports vary on a case to case basis and are generally processed within 6-8 weeks. In specific cases this may be longer and is at the sole discretion of the CGI/HCI authority.

PIO Applications:
Processing times for PIO applications vary on a case to case basis and are generally processed within 6-8 weeks. In specific cases this may be longer and is at the sole discretion of the CGI/HCI authority.

After submitting your OCI application, track your application here using your File No that has been generated and sent to you on your specified email address.

Once you submit your passport after the status on the above tracking link shows "documents dispatched to CGI/HCI" track on this link using your passport no and Surname as mentioned on your passport to check for closure of your application.
