Step 1 :
After submitting your OCI application, track your application here
https://passport.gov.in/oci/OnlineOCIenquiry.jsp
using your File No that has
been generated and sent to you on your specified email address. If you do not have your File no, send an email to
ociinfo.inau@vfshelpline.com
with your
Name and passport no requesting your OCI File no.
Step 2 :
Once the status on this tracking screen shows "Documents Received at CGI/HCI" (and you do not see NOT YET on the screen), it means your OCI documents have arrived in Australia.
Step 3 :
Post in your Australian (Foreign) passport, Form N (Renunciation of Indian Passport) if you have not already done so + your Indian passport. (This will be cancelled and returned to you with your OCI Card)
