India Passport & Visa Services Centre is officially authorized by the High Commission of India/ Consulate General of India, Australia to accept applications for visa, passport and overseas citizen of India, collect application charges and returning documents to applicants.

Please note there is no change in the Indian immigration rules. All applications will be assessed and decided by the visa and immigration office at the High Commission of India/Consulate General of India, Australia in accordance with the Indian immigration legislation and policy.

India Passport & Visa Services Centre is run and managed by VFS Services Australia Pty Ltd. VFS provides service for the visa, passport and overseas citizen of India (OCI) application only at an additional service charge of AUD 18 inclusive of GST per applicant. Staff members of VFS have no role or influence over the outcome of an application. The decision to grant or refuse a visa is made solely by the officers at the High Commission of India/Consulate General of India. VFS role is entirely impartial. VFS staff will provide the information but they cannot and will not offer immigration or related advice.

It remains our commitment to ensure the integrity of our process. Any applicant submitting false documentation or other incorrect information in support of their application may be referred to the local authorities.
